Cricket The West Indies A team’s tour of Nepal has been announced. Beginning on April 27, West Indies A will play a five-match Twenty20 series in Nepal. The goal of this series is to get ready for the T20 World Cup in 2024.
Captain Roston Chase will lead a strong 15-man team that includes many seasoned players with a wealth of experience for the West Indies senior cricket team.
This is the first-ever tour to Nepal by any squad from the West Indies. Nepal has only played one match against the West Indies at the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe thus far.

The historic series will begin on April 27 and end on May 5. All games will be played at the TU Cricket Ground.

Roston Chase, the captain of West Indies A, is a highly skilled player. For the West Indies, the 32-year-old has participated in 49 Test matches, 45 ODIs, and 11 T20Is. The team also has Johnson Charles and Andre Fletcher, two destructive hitters. Charles has scored a century in T20I cricket against South Africa, and both players are highly skilled batters.
The squad features competent speed bowlers Obed McCoy and Oshane Thomas in addition to young, talented players like Hayden Walsh, Keemo Paul, and Keacy Carty. The West Indies A team is generally rather strong, with a combination of more experienced players and those that play all year long in different franchise leagues throughout the world.
