Four Players along with Kamal Singh Airee added in Nepal Squad for West Indies Series.
To take on West Indies A, Nepal has acquired four new players to its roster: Sagar Dhakal, Lokesh Bam, Kamal Singh Airee, and Binod Bhandari.
These players were added to the roster, according to Paras Khadka, secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). The 16-man team led by Rohit Paudel for the historic series was revealed by CAN on Thursday.
In the Twenty20 series against Ireland Wolves, Lokesh Bam of Nepal A struck a century while Sagar Dhakal and Kamal Singh Airee excelled at pace and spin bowling, respectively. The team’s leader versus Ireland Wolves was Binod Bhandari.
There are now twenty people in the squad. After the West Indies A series concludes, the T20 World team is anticipated to be announced.
The historic series will begin on April 27 and end on May 5. All games will be played at the TU Cricket Ground. This is the first-ever tour to Nepal by any squad from the West Indies. Nepal has only played one match against the West Indies in Zimbabwe during the Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2023.
