Pakistan Legendary Player Saqlain Mushtaq Ready to Coach Nepali Team

Pakistan’s legendary cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq said he is ready to serve the Nepali Cricket team as a manager if the association wants.

In a live interview with Great Himalaya Cricket Academy in a Facebook page, Mushtaq praised the Nepali cricket and also discussed his cricketing career.

Mushtaq has already worked as a bowling coach of England cricket team. He was well renowned bowler of his time. He played from 1995 to 2004 for the Pakistani team. He was the fastest to reach the milestones of 200 and 250 wickets in ODIs

In the interview, he also discussed about Sandeep Lamichhane and said his bowling shows the standard of Nepali cricket. He said he watched Lamichhane play in the Pakistan Super League.

On asking about coaching the Nepali cricket team, Mushtaq said, “I’d love to. I don’t mind. ” He added, “I will definitely come to Nepal to pass my knowledge to Nepali players.”

Saqlain Mushtaq was due to visit Nepal in April to conduct a week-long training camp at the Wai Wai Great Himalaya Cricket Academy but it was halted due to corona virus outbreak.
