KL Rahul and Kuldeep Yadav missed the first T20I and it looks like they will miss the second as well. KL was supposed to captain the T20I side but missed out and Rishab Pant was given the responsibility.

Pace attacker Umran Malik or Arshdeep Singh have to wait more longer to make their first appearance in Indian colors as India is likely to feature an unchanged XI for the second T20I as well.

Aiden Markram missed the first T20I after testing positive to Covid-19 and will remain out until June 15. If conditions favour seamers, they may consider benching Keshav Maharaj for one of Lungi Ngidi or Marco Jansen.
