Tribhuwan Army FC to take on Sri Lanka Police SC in AFC Cup Play-Off

Nepal’s only AFC Licensed club, Tribhuwan Army Football Club will take on the Sri Lanka Police SC in the preliminary round of AFC Cup play-off. The venue is yet to be confirmed by the AFC.

In a AFC Cup fixtures published by the Asian Football Federation (AFC) on Wednesday, the winner of South Asian zone will be seeded in group D of the final league divisions.

If Army Football Club defeated Sri Lankan side, then they will play Bengaluru FC of India in the next round. If Army Club defeated the Indian side as well, they will play the winner of Eagles/ Thimphu City vs Abahani Limited Dhaka.

The group stage match of the AFC Cup will start from May 14 whereas the play-off matches will start early from April.
