The shortest version of cricket league, T10 league is starting from November 15 in Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi. This will be the third edition of the league.
Two Nepali players are featuring in the league, Sandeep Lamichhane and Paras Khadka. This will be the second edition for Lamichhane whereas, it will be the first for Paras Khadka. Sandeep Lamichhane’s spot is all but fixed in starting eleven. However, Paras’s chances depend on the squad depth of Team Abu dhabi.
Team Abu Dhabi consists of seven bowlers, a wicket-keeper, four all-rounders and only one full-time batsman. In this condition, the coach of Team Abu Dhabi has to make a wise choice for starting eleven. He surely have to pick up at-least six batsmen including the all-rounders. UAE batsman Rameez Shahzad will be the only full-time batsman. Sri Lankan wicket-keeper batsman Niroshan Dickwella is the other batsman. These two batsmen will be the obvious inclusion in the starting eleven.

With only two batsmen confirmed, it will be almost certain that the coach Trevor Bayliss will have to pick up at-least three all-rounders or all four all-rounders. Therefore, Nepal all-rounder and former skipper Paras Khadka can be the strong pick up for Trevor Bayliss’s side. English all-rounder Luke Wright and New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson are obvious pick up.
The UAE bowling all-rounder Rohan Mustafa might be the optional choice as there are enough bowlers in the team. Although, Paras Khadka is a all-rounder, his preference is batting and the Team Abu Dhabi lacking proper batsmen, Khadka will be ahead of Rohan in starting eleven. OR both of the can be picked up at once i.e. four all-rounders with other two batsmen.
