Serie A announced fixtures for season restart

  • Leaders Juventus take on Bologna on June 22.
  • Juventus vs Lazio on Juny 20.
  • Discussion over allowing limited number of fans.

The Serie A has announced their fixtures which will restart from June 20.

The Italian league was suspended more thn 3 months ago due to the COVID-19 fear.

According to the Serie A, a team will play twice in a week so as to complete the league by August 2. There are currently 12 rounds of the fixtures remaining in the league with four other games also outstanding.

Serie A will host those four matches before heading for the remaining rounds of the fixtures. Torino vs Parma and Verona vs Cagliari will be played on June 20.

Similarly, on the following day, Inter Milan host Sampdoria while Atalanta will play Sassuolo.

After the completion of these four outstanding matches, the round 27 matches will begin from June 22. Three matches will be played on that day with leader Juventus taking on Bologna.

Juventus vs Lazio, which could be the title deciding match will be played on July 20.

Juventus will host Lazio on July 20.

Serie A announced fixtures for season restart

 

The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has presented a document where new rules are described.

Teams must go on and off the pitch at different times with the number of people in stadiums is limited to 300, including players, staff and journalists.

In addition to this, according to the Italian media reports, discussion over allowing limited numbers of fans at the stadium is being proposed.
