Nepal national team leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane is all set to join Hobart Hurricanes for the new season of Big Bash League in Australia.
In the previous two seasons, Lamichhane played from Melbourne Stars where he performed brilliantly. However, the Stars didn’t renewed the contract with the leggie and was seeking for a new team in the league.
The official announcement of the signing is expected to be made by Thursday, according to Raman Shiwakoti who is looking after Lamichhane’s contracts.
Shiwakoti also mentioned that Sandeep will miss first few matches of the League as he has to spent a couple of weeks in quarantine.
Big Bash League 2020/21 is starting from December 10. Sandeep will travel to Australia in the second week of November.
