Sandeep Lamichhane off to Canada for GT20 League

Nepal’s ace spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has left for Canada to take part in the fourth edition of the Global T20 League in Canada. He will be playing for Vancouver Knights in the league.

Lamichhane has featured in all previous three editions of the league having represented Montreal Tigers, Toronto Nationals and Surry Jaguars. He was picked up as a Associate Marquee by the Knights for this season.

In all those three previous editions, Sandeep has grabbed a total of 23 wickets in 17 matches making him one of the celebrated player in the Global T20.

Sandeep will be joined by his fellow national team-mate Dipendra Singh Airee in the Knights.

Vancouver Knights will play the opening match of the GT20 League against Toronto Nationals, which also includes another Nepali player Rohit Kumar Paudel.
