Nepal’s duo Sandeep Lamichhane and Sompal Kami will directly travel to Canada from Singapore to join their respective teams in the Global T20 League. Meanwhile, the Nepali team will return home tomorrow after failing to qualify for the Global Qualifiers.
Sompal Kami will join Winnipeg Hawks whereas Lamichhane will join Toronto Nationals in the league. This is Lamichhane’s second season at the league where this is the first one for Nepal’s fast bowling all-rounder. Lamichhane was picked up for 60,000 dollars and Kami was picked up for the minimum price of 3 thousand dollars.
Toronto Nationals has already two matches and had won one and lost the other. Similarly, Winnipeg Hawks had played one and lost it. The next match is slated for today, therefore Kami will miss this second match as well. However, it is uncertain that Kami will get start in the League or not.
