“Let Bangladesh win, we will get Nepal’s support in final.” – Bhutan

Bhutan made a historic place in the final of South Asian Games (SAG) football 2019 after winning three out of 4 matches. This is the first time that Bhutan will be playing a final of any tournament.
Bhutan defeated Maldives, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka in the course. Bhutan defeated Sri Lanka 3-0 on Saturday to book their place in the final. However, they lost 4-0 to Nepal, the only defeat to the Bhutanese side.
Now, Bhutan will either see Nepal or Bangladesh in the final match for Gold medal. Nepal and Bangladesh are playing each other today at 5 pm with the winner making it to the final. However, a draw for Nepal will send them to final.
Bhutanese team was cheered by Nepali supporters in the match against Sri Lanka and the Bhutanese coach was delighted with that. He told that the players were motivated by the support for Nepali. Therefore, he expects to play the final match against Bangladesh so that they can get enough support from the home side.
Nepal has 7 points from 3 matches with two wins and two draws. Bangladesh has 4 from as many matches as Nepal. Bhutan remains at the top with 9 points.
