SAFF Championship, the mega footballing event in South Asia is beginning today in Maldives. The 13th edition of SAFF Championship was supposed to be hosted in 2020 by Pakistan but was postponed to 2021 and host was changed to Bangladesh.
Again, with few months remaining for the championship, Bangladesh decided not to host the tournament and later the hosting right was given to Maldives.
In the opening match of SAFF Championship 2021, Bangladesh will take on Sri Lanka at 4:45 PM Nepali Time. Nepal will begin their campaign with a match against the host and defending Champions, Maldives. The match will kick off at 9:45 PM Nepali Time. You can watch the match Live Here.
Nepal will play their second match against Sri Lanka on October 4.
