South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) has taken the step regarding the SAFF Championship 2020 and decided to pushed it by a year.
The regional football tournament was postponed to 2021 following the covid-19 outbreak in the world along with the region.
The decision was made after a virtual meeting between the representatives from all the seven regions.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss on the SAFF Championship including all age groups tournaments.
SAFF Championship 2020 was scheduled for September 7, 2020 in Bangladesh.
