The official trophy of the Pokhara Premier League 2019 was release today. Similarly, due to the unfavorable weather conditions, the tournament dates have been pushed by a day. Pokhara Paltan and Kathmandu Goldens will play the opening match.
The postponement means the inaugural match which was scheduled for Saturday was shifted to Sunday. Queens Event Management Pvt Ltd is organizing the T20 format cricket tournament in Pokhara in order to enhance the cricket future in Nepal as well as to enhance the beauty of Pokhara.
PPL includes six franchises which are Pokhara Paltan, Chitwan Rhinos, Kathmandu Royals, Biratnagar Titans, Dhangadhi Blues and Butwal Blasters. Paltan are the defending champions.
Biratnagar Titans will be lead by Pradeep Airee, Kathmandu Royals by Gyanendra Malla, Dhangadi Blues by Dipendra Singh Airee, Chitwan Rhinos by Paras Khadka, Butwal Blasters by Sompal Kami and Sarad Veswakar will lead Pokhara Paltan.
The winner of the league will get cash prize of 27 lakhs with runner-up taking away 10 lakhs.
