Pep Guardiola on Griezmann Transfer: “Barcelona fans can relax.”

The transfer market is already heating up the world football with the rumors of few stars. Among those includes the World Cup 2018 winner Antoine Griezmann. The Atletico Madrid star has been linked with a move to Barcelona.

Griezmann has already confirmed on Tuesday that he intends to leave the Atletico at the end of the season, despite only agreeing a new five-year contract last year. With FC Barcelona, Manchester City are also showing interests on signing the Frenchman.

However, the City boss Pep Guardiola dropped some hints regarding the transfer.

“Barcelona fans can relax. Man City at the moment are not in a position to afford Griezmann. So, No, we’ll not try to sign Griezmann” – Pep Guardiola said regarding Manchester City’s approach towards the player.
