Former skipper of Nepali cricket team Paras Khadka confirmed that he won’t be part of the Legends League Cricket this season in India.
According to Khadka, the current Secretary of the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), he won’t be able to represent the team Gujarat due to his prior commitments.
“There is the Kathmandu District Cricket Association meeting today and the Bagmati Province Cricket Association meeting tomorrow, so I will be occupied for two days,” said Khadka. “Additionally, I have various responsibilities related to the Nepal Premier League (NPL), so I couldn’t find the time to participate.”
Paras Khadka is also the member in the Kathmandu District Cricket Association and serves as the president of the Bagmati Province Cricket Association.
Khadka was signed during the auction last month by the Gujarat team for a base price of INR 1.25 million.
The Gujarat team includes well-known players such as Shikhar Dhawan, Chris Gayle, Asghar Afghan, and Lendl Simmons. A total of six teams are participating in the tournament. Paras was part of the Asian Lions team in the first edition of the league, which was held in Qatar.
