Nepal skipper Paras Khadka is declared fit to play tomorrow against Kuwait in their third match of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Asia Region Final. Nepal had won one and lost the other match.

Khadka was forced to stay at bench in the match against Malaysia which Nepal won by 7 wickets thanks to Gyanendra Malla’s record 51 off 21 balls. With that win, Nepal still remained in contention for the next round qualification.

Paras Khadka has sustained a back pain during Nepal’s first match against Qatar. He, however, managed to bat in the first inning but was substituted in the second inning. He was completely out in the match against Malaysia. With two reserve days, Khadka has recovered well and is all set to start against Kuwait. He was present in the training session and batted as well.

During a short conversation, Khadka told that the team will do their best in the remaining two matches and also stated that the match against Kuwait will be difficult due to pitch condition.

“After losing the first match, we have made a good comeback. Our mission is not only to qualify for the Global Qualifier but to play the World Cup so we must play even better. We want to forget all about the first match and want to focus on the remaining two matches.” Khadka told. Similarly, he was confident that he is fully fit and is ready to play the next match.

Nepal will play against Kuwait tomorrow at 7:15 am. Kuwait had defeated Qatar in their third match. Nepal was defeated by Qatar by 4 wickets in the first match followed by a 7 wickets win over Malaysia.
