The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced in a press release that they have announced their 17-men squad for the upcoming ACC Asia Cup 2023.
Inzamam-ul-Haq, the head coach of Pakistan Cricket excluded Shan Masood and Ihsanullah who were part of the team in last ODI series against New Zealand.
The host will be lead by their talisman Babar Azam with another star all-rounder Shadab Khan as vice-captain.
Three players, that played against Nepal in ACC Men’s Emerging Cup will also be the part of the Asia Cup 2023. The players are Tayyab Tahir, Mohammad Harris and Wohammad Wasim Jr.
Pakistan will play against Nepal in the opening match of the ACC Asia Cup 2023 at Multan Cricket Ground.

Openers: Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq.
Middle order: Babar Azam (captain), Salman Ali Agha, Iftikhar Ahmed, Tayyab Tahir .
Wicketkeepers: Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Haris
Spinners: Shadab Khan (vice-captain), Mohammad Nawaz and Usama Mir
Pace all-rounder: Faheem Ashraf.
