Oman’s all-rounder Aqib Ilyas is all set to show his magic with bat and ball once again at TU Cricket ground as he is all set to play the Everest Premier League 2020. He will be representing Kathmandu Kings XI this season.
The Oman international was keen to play the domestic league here in Nepal and he got the opportunity in this year’s Everest Premier League as Kathmandu Kings XI roped him.
Aqib has drawn the attention of many Nepalese fans with his back to back centuries in TU Cricket Ground during ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup League 2 match. He had made 109* against Nepal and made 104 against USA during the series. Despite the knock that broke Nepali fans heart, he got cheered by the crowd and he had acknowledged them as well.
The Everest Premier League 2020 will be his first appearance in the franchise league (ICC Sanctioned).
