Nepal’s GK Kiran Chemjong parted way with TC Sports for International duty

The Maldivian TC Sports Club confirmed that they had parted ways with Nepal International Kiran Chemjong after he failed to report to the team. Chemjong is currently with his National squad for a couple of friendly matches.

It has been learnt that the Nepalese goalie had asked the club to release him for the International friendlies but the club insists that they can’t do so. The club said, “He asked to release him for the friendlies but those dates hold important matches for club too.”

The club had just announced his contract renew around a month ago. He had already spent 2 seasons with the club winning the league as well. He was also adjusted the best goal-keeper of the season. Now,, with the transfer window almost close in most of the leagues, it would be difficult for Chemjong to find a club. Nevertheless, the club from Nepal itself will be keen on signing him. 

The other Nepal International Bimal Gharti Magar, However, will join the same club and is not included in the national squad. 

Similarly, the other midfielder Rohit Chand had been granted leave for his international duties by his Indonesian side Persija Jakarta.

Nepal is playing a couple of friendly matches against Malaysian on June 2 and Chinese Taipai on June 6.
