Nepal vs West Indies A: Performance Summary

Last Saturday, Nepal won an important match against West Indies A. They triumphed by four wickets at TU Cricket Ground to take a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20 series. A brief summary of yesterdays’ performance is as below:

1. Captain Rohit Paudel:

– Scored a brilliant century, 112 runs off 54 deliveries.

– Played a crucial role in Nepal’s successful chase of 205 runs.

– Brought up his hundred in just 47 balls.

– Stayed unbeaten until the penultimate over, anchoring the innings.

2. Anil Sah:

– Dismissed early after scoring 5 run

3. Kushal Bhurtel:

– Departed early after making 16 runs.

4. Kushal Malla:

– Scored 16 runs before getting out.

5. Dipendra Singh Airee:

– Scored 24 runs and contributed to a 64-run partnership with Paudel for the fourth wicket.

6. Pratish GC:

– Hit a boundary in the first ball of the final over, reducing the required runs to nine from six balls.

7. Gulshan Jha:

– Smacked back-to-back boundaries in the final over to complete Nepal’s successful chase.

Nepal’s bowling unit performed well, with Abinash Bohara impressively taking one wicket for 28 runs in his four overs. DS Airee, Rohit Paudel, and Kamal Singh Airee also chipped in with a wicket each.
