Nepali U23 team is currently preparing for the South Asian Games (SAG) which is being hosted by Nepal in last December this year. Nepal is the defending champions and there will be pressure for Nepali team to defend the title. Therefore, this friendly match will help fine their tune ahead of the SAG.
The ANFA had also confirmed the friendly match of senior team against the senior side of Myanmar. Nepal U23 team will be lead by senior player Sujal Shrestha. Along with him, the other two senior players are Bikram Lama and Nawayug Shrestha.
