Nepal to take UAE in Women’s Asia Cup 2024 Opener

Nepali Women Team will start their ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2024 campaign with a match against the familiar opponent United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In the official fixtures released by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Monday, the tournament will take off with the opening match between two Associates Nepal and UAE on July 19.

A total of eight teams will be competiting in the tournament with four teams in each of the two groups. Nepal are drawn with India, UAE and Pakistan. The other groups consists of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia and Thailand.

Nepal made it to the Asia Cup 2024 after finishing as one of the semi-finalists in the ACC Women’s Premier Cup.

The Nepalese team is now undergoing hard training in Kathmandu in preparation for the Asian Cup. They are in a closed camp, and the final roster has yet to be announced.
