The Cricket Canada has confirmed that the ICC CWC League 2 Tri-series will be followed by a T20 International tri-series between the same teams involving Nepal, Canada and Oman.
CWC League 2 Tri-series will start from September 16 with Canada hosting Nepal and Oman. All the three teams will play each other twice.
Soon after finishing this tri-series, the teams will get involved in the shorter format of the game starting from September 28.
Currently Nepal are at 8th position with just two points from 4 matches. Similarly, Oman are at seventh with 3 points from four matches.
On the other hand, Canada remains at third position with 8 points from as many matches after losing all the last four matches in their latest series.
Nepal lost their three matches at home and recorded only single win in their first series of the cycle.
Nepali cricket team is set to travel Sri Lanka for the preparation where they will be playing a set of 3 50-overs matches against the Sri Lanka Development Squad.
