Nepal’s third tri-series of the ICC Cricket World Cup (CWC) League 2 2024-27 has been confirmed, with the team set to face the USA and Scotland in the United States following the conclusion of their ongoing series in Canada.
Currently, Nepal is in Canada for their second tri-series under the CWC League 2. After this, they will travel to the USA for the next round of matches, where Scotland will join them to complete the tri-nation series.
Nepal Set to Face USA and Scotland in Third CWC League 2 Tri-Series
The series will kick off on October 27 with Nepal facing the USA, followed by a match against Scotland on October 29. The team will play their third match against the USA on November 2 and finish their campaign against Scotland on November 4. There is also a possibility of a T20I tri-series being played after the completion of the ODI matches.
All matches will be held at Prairie View Stadium, with exact match timings to be revealed closer to the event.
Before heading to the USA, Nepal has four key matches left in Canada. They are set to play Canada on September 16 and will face Oman after a rest day on September 18. Nepal will again play against the both opponents.
Earlier this year, Nepal’s ODI performance was tested when they played a home series against the Netherlands and Namibia in February. Despite facing three defeats, they managed to secure a win against the Netherlands.
