Nepal grouped with Maldives and Mongolia in Asian Games

Nepali cricket team will be facing the minnows Maldives and Mongolia in the Asian Games (Cricket) which is starting from September 23.
The 19th edition of Asian Games is being hosted by China in Hangzhou.
Previously, Nepal were grouped with Japan and Cambodia. However, there was change in the fixtures and Nepal were drawn in Group B along with Maldives and Mongolia.
Nepal will play their first match of the Asian Games against the debutant in International cricket, Mongolia on 27th of September at Pingfeng Cricket Field.
The second match will be played against Maldives on 1st of October.
All the five full member nations (Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh) are granted direct passage into the quarterfinals.
This is the third time that Cricket has been included in the Asian Games. Previously, it was back in 2010 and 2014.
