Nepal national team goal-keeper Kiran Chemjong has agreed terms with Minerva Punjab and will be joining the club second time. He had already been the part of Punjab based team.
Chemong had played from the club in 2018, where he was one of the important players and contributed a lot to the club when Minerva Punjab won the I-League. After winning the league in India, Chemjong had moved to the Maldivian league, joining the TC Sports Club. He again won the league in the Maldives as well. In fact, he was adjusted the best goal-keeper of the league last season.
However, after failing to join the squad, as Chemjong was busy with the National Team, the Maldivian side terminated the contract with Kiran Chemjong. Chemjong was without a club. Nevertheless, Minerva Punjab approached and Chemong agreed to the terms.
