Nepal droped 6 positions in latest FIFA Ranking

Nepal national football team FIFA ranking dropped to 167th from 161st in the latest FIFA ranking released today. The ranking for the month of October was decided as per the matches played by Nepal is FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Nepal played against Australia and Jordan in October 15 and 19 respectively. Nepal lost both the matches, 5-0 to Australia and 3-0 to Jordan.

Nepal’s total points dropped from 999 to 988 points.

India lead the South Asian ranking and were dropped to 106 from 104th position. Similarly, Maldives are ranked 154th whereas Bangladesh, Bhutan and Pakistan are ranked 184th, 189th and 201st respectively. Sri Lanka remained at last in SA and are at 203rd position.

Belgium lead the FIFA ranking and is followed by FIFA World Cup 2018 winner France in second, Brazil in third, England fourth and Uruguay in the fifth.
