Key Players Miss as Nepal announced squad for Emerging Asia Cup 2023

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced Nepal’s squad for the upcoming ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023, soon after the return of Nepali team from Zimbabwe.
Nepal made four changes from the squad that played in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe. Spinner Sandeep Lamichhane and all-rounder Dipendra Singh Airee missed out after they were allowed to participate in the Global T20 League in Canada. Similarly, senior players duo Gyanendra Malla and Karan KC are rested.
U-19 skipper Dev Khanal, spinner duo Shyam Dhakal and Syral Tamang and top order batter Sundeep Jora has been called for the Emerging Asia Cup scheduled from July 13 in Sri Lanka.
Nepal are in Group B along with India A, Pakistan A and the UAE.
