Liverpool awaits defending Champions Man City’s “Guard of Honour” at Etihad

Liverpool are confirmed of their Premier League title on Thursday after Chelsea defeated Manchester City 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool are now 23 points clear off second placed Manchester City which confirms that Liverpool’s 30 years wait for the English League title is finally over. Liverpool last won the league was back in 1989/90.
The tittle confirmation means the defending champions Manchester City will have to give a guard of honour for the new champion.
Liverpool is visiting Etihad Stadium for next game week match on July 2. Previously, the fixtures between these two was proposed to be played at neutral venue. However, now the match will be played at City’s home ground itself.
