A stoppage time goal that came from spot kick denied Nepal their victory over Kuwait in the ongoing AFC U16 Championship in Jordan.
In the match played at Zarqa city, Jordan on Monday night, Nepal lead against the strong Kuwaiti side when Krishan Adhikari Yadav scored for Nepal. Nepal were a millimeter away from producing a win but the last minute confusion cost them a goal.
Nepal had lost their opening match against Jordan 7-0. The junior gorkhalis made a great comeback from that defeat.
Nepal will play Tajikistan in their third match on September 20 before summing up the qualifiers with a match against Sri Lanka.
