Nepal’s leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane is all set to make his first in Hurricanes shirt for the first time this season. Lamichhane completed his 14-day quarantine on Wednesday and joined his new team on Thursday.
What a win! That’s a brilliant team work. Absolutely terrific. Loved every single second of this game. Great display of death bowling. Well done everyone,@HurricanesBBL. Cheers to this amazing victory. What a way to finish my quarantine. See you guys tomorrow.🙌 pic.twitter.com/HW3Tcn0gCd

Hobart Hurricanes has already played six matches among which, they have won four and lost the other two. Hurricanes are currently at third position in the table.
The Hurricanes will now take on Melbourne Stars in their seventh match of the league on 2nd January. The match could be Lamichhane’s debut match in the purple.
Lamichhane favorite to start against Melbourne Stars
Hobart Hurricanes has total of three overseas players; Sandeep Lamichhane, Dwaid Malan and Keemo Paul and two overseas replacement players; Colin Ingram and Will Jacks. Colin Ingram has been playing as replacement of Sandeep Lamichhane and now Sandeep will, most probably start ahead of Ingram.
However, with Keemo Paul not performing up to the mark, Lamichhane could replace him as well. Hurricanes has perfect fast bowling attack and lack the spin bowling. With the addition of Lamichhane in spin department, Hurricanes’ bowling department will be boosted.
