The final match of the Kirin Cup 2022 is being played between the host Japan and Tunisia. Japan defeated Ghana 4-1 to book their place in the final whereas Tunisia saw off Chile in the semi-final.

The winner of 21st edition of international friendly tournament will be decided on June 14 as Japan will be looking to regain the title after failing in the last edition.

Japan and Tunisia has played each other in four occasions with Japan winning all of those four.

Last time Kirin Cup was played back in 2016 where host Japan lost to Bosnia & Herzegovina in the final.

The final match will be played at Panasonic Stadium Suita and will kick off at 10:45 pm Tunisia time.

Team News

Yukinari Sugawara, Hidemasa Morita and Ayase Ueda are out for the home side after they picked up injuries in previous matches.

For the African side, Nader Al Ghandri will miss the final due to muscle injury.
