Chelsea fans go wild after disastrous tweet by fellow club Manchester City. In a tweet made by the official twitter account of Manchester City, it quoted Frank Lampard as City Legend. Not only Chelsea fans, but the football fans around the world are making fun of that tweet.
The 2018/19 Premier League champions has been dominating English football since few years. They were also the champions of the season 2017/18. Pep Guardiola’s arrival at Etihad had made the team unstoppable. Recently, City scored six goals past Watford in the FA Cup final to complete domestic treble in England.
Though City are unstoppable at present, but are always been accused of not having history. City fans can merely take the name of their legends.
Probably, as the reflection for such accusation, the Manchester City are calling Frank Lampard a ‘City Legend’. City’s official twitter accounted tweeted on Friday as, “A farewell goal for Frank Lampard. City legend”.

Lampard had joined Manchester City on August 3, 2014 on a six-months deal. However, he extended the stay at City and played until the end of the season. He had scored 8 goals and had 4 assists in his name. Does this stats and his around 9-months stay at Etihad make his City Legend ?
With already having more number of goals for the Chelsea than the number of matches he had played for City, will it be valid to call him a City Legend ?
Frank Lampard is a Legend, but not a City Legend, he is a Chelsea Legend to whom every Chelsea fans have a lots of memories, joys, happiness and many more.
