FIFA World Cup 2022 is kicking off from 20th November and all the eyes are drawn towards Qatar now. This is the second time that the FIFA World Cup is being hosted in Asia. Previously, back in 2002, Japan and South Korea jointly hosted the mega event which was won by Brazil.
This is the first time that six countries will be representing Asia in the FIFA World Cup. So, this world cup is quite special for the Asian viewers.
Similarly, 13 European teams will be part of 2022 FIFA World Cup whereas, 5 from Africa, 4 from North America and 4 from South America will vie for the global tournament.

It is expected that this world cup will draw a huge number of viewers from the Asian nations. The Asian viewers has high expectations from South Korea and Japan in the coming FIFA World Cup.
In India and Bangladesh, their respective broadcasting right holders will distribute the streaming rights throughout the country.
The viacom 18 has bought the broadcasting rights for a whopping 450 crore. The company has given the broadcasting right to Sports 18/ Sports 18 HD which needs regular subscription fee. However, it is free for Jio Cinema users.
In addition to this, in Bangladesh TSports has acquired the broadcasting rights. “As the first sports channel in the country, we have been taking the initiative of live broadcasting of all the popular events of the sports world since the beginning,” said Safwan Sobhan, vice chairman of Bashundhara Group and managing director of T Sports.
