Friendly Match: Nepal lost 3-0 to Myanmar

Nepal lost to Myanmar 3-0 in their friendly match ahead of their FIFA World Cup and AFC Asia Cup qualifiers match against Kuwait.

In the match played at Mandalarthiri Stadium, Myanmar, the home side took the lead in the third minute of the match. Similarly, Nepal conceded another goal in the first half. Aung Thu and David Htan scored a goal each in the first half. 

Similarly, Nepal conceded the third goal in the second half. Hlaing Bo Bo had scored the goal. Nepal had started with Bikesh Kuthu under the bar after Kiran Chemjong was unavailable. Similarly, Bharat Khawas was on the bench. He was in the team after around 5 months. 

Nepal XI: Bikesh Kuthu, Suman Aryal, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Ananta Tamang, Devendra Tamang, Ravi Paswan, Anjan Bista, Sujal Shrestha, Tej Tamang, Santosh Tamang, Bimal Magar.

Nepal will play against Kuwait on 19th November. The match was scheduled to kick off at Dashrath Stadium. However, the AFC rejects ANFA’s proposal and confirmed that the match will be played in a neutral venue.
