Frank Lampard set to replace Sarri at Chelsea
The BBC Sports reports that Chelsea had agreed a deal regarding Maurizio Sarri to join the Serie A champions Juventus. The deal is expected to be made public as early as Friday.
It is believed that the compensation fee of around £5m has been agreed.
Sarri had signed a three-years contract with Chelsea. However, some misunderstanding with the players is forcing him out in his first year. Chelsea finished third in the League this season and won the Europa League.
He was criticized many times for his booring type of game-play. It is said that his tactics lack attacking football.
Chelsea were beaten by Manchester City in penalty shootout in the final of Carabao Cup final at Wembley. The controversy of Chelsea custodian Kepa Arrizabalaga refusing to be substituted, was counted as a low point for Maurizio Sarri.
Sarri bagged his first ever major trophy with Chelsea as they defeated Arsenal 4-1 in the final of Europa League. Sarri was seemed in tears following the final triumph.
With Chelsea currently banned to sign players for two seasons and their star Eden Hazard joining Real Madrid, Sarri could possibly looking for a new challenge back in Italy.

Till now, Chelsea record goal scorer Frank Lampard leads the way to become Chelsea’s new manager. Lampard is very beloved to the club and could be the new manage for Chelsea. He has started his managerial career with Derby. He was defeated in the Championship play-off at Wembly.
Lampard had won 11 major trophies with Chelsea, spending 13 years at Stamford Bridge.
