Former Arsenal star José Reyes killed in car crash

The tragic demise of former Arsenal player José Antonio Reyes has been confirmed by Marca. He has been killed in a car crash in Spain on Saturday morning. Further details of the accident has not been made public.

Reyes had also played from the Spain national team where he had earned 22 caps, also being a part of National team in FIFA World Cup 2006 in Germany.

Beside Arsenal, Reyes had played from two Spanish giants Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. However, he had started his career from Sevilla, where he made his debut at the age of 16. The he became the first Spanish player to win Premier League when Arsenal won the league back in 2006.

After his stint at Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, he returned to his boyhood club Sevilla in 2012. He was also the part of the team Sevilla, where his team won back-to-back three Europa League titles.

Football players and fans all over the world are saddened after hearing the news and has been expressing their deep sympathy. His boyhood club Sevilla was first to post a tribute post followed by his fellow teammates, different clubs and other peoples.
