Nepal national football team is taking on Kuwait in their fifth match of the FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers in Changlimithang Stadium, Bhutan. This is supposed to be Nepal’s first home match. However, due to various reasons, the match was rescheduled to Bhutan.
The match will be played at around 3 pm local time, which is 2:45 pm Nepali time. You can follow the match live here.
Nepal had played against the same team around 2 and half months ago in Kuwait. That was the first match of the qualification campaign. Unfortunately, Nepal were outplayed by Kuwaiti team as they had won 7-0.
After that match, Nepal played other 3 matches where they lost two and won the remaining. Having already played the half of the matches, Nepal are currently at fourth position in 5-teams group.
