CPL T20 2020 Starting From Today

The eight edition of Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is all set to start form August 18 in Trinidad & Tobago. Despite the Corona virus pandemic, the CPL has decided to complete this year’s league.
In the opening day of the league, Trinbago Knight Riders will play against Guyana Amazon Warriors in the first match. The second match of the opening day will see Barbados Tridents taking on St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
This will be the first T20 league during the pandemic, which will be played in a single country at just two grounds. All the matches will be played with a fan in the stadium. Many franchised leagues have been severely affected by this pandemic.
Nepal’s leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane will be playing from Jamaica Tallawahs this season and this will be his third straight season in CPL T20. Jamaica Tallawahs take on St Lucia Zouks in the second day of the league (10 August).
