CAN Looking to reduce the Agreement to Six Months

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) is all set to reduce the time period of agreement with the National players to six months which was 1 year previously.

However, due to the Corona virus pandemic, the association is unable to conduct the meeting to make the final announcement. The meeting will be conduct after the lock-down and the decision will be official during after the meeting.

With this decision, the CAN is ambitious about tough competition of the players for the national team. As per the source, the decision was made following the poor performance by the players in the squad.

According to the CAN official, the player with good performance will receive improved grade whereas players failing to perform will have their grade deducted.

As per the last policy which was of a year, 24 players divided in grade A, B and C are receiving their salary accordingly with 35 thousands, 25 and 15 thousands respectively. However, the amount will also increase this time.
