The Nepali cricket team, set to participate in the 19th Asian Games, was given a farewell in a ceremony organized in Kathmandu.
This event was presided over by the recently elected officials of the Nepal Cricket Association (CAN). CAN President Chatur Bahadur Chand and Secretary Paras Khadka graced the occasion with their presence.
However, notable team member Sandeep Lamichhane was absent from the ceremony due to his scheduled trial on the same day.
