Brazil announced squad for Copa America 2019, few stars miss out

The home team, Brazil has announced their final squad for the Copa America 2019. The final squad misses out the Champions League finalists Lucas Moura and Fabinho. Similarly, the Europa League finalist Willian was also excluded. Some famous names includes Real Madrid duo Vinicius Junior and Marcelo as well.

The 46th Copa America is slated from 14th June in Brazil. Total of 14 teams will participating in the competition along with two Asian nations as guests.

Defenders: Thiago Silva (PSG), Marquinhos (PSG), Miranda (Inter Milan), Eder Militao (FC Porto), Filipe Luis (Atletico Madrid), Alex Sandro (Juventus), Dani Alves (PSG), Fagner (Corinthians)

Midfielders: Fernandinho (Manchester City), Casemiro (Real Madrid), Lucas Paqueta (AC Milan), Allan (Napoli), Arthur (Barcelona), Philippe Coutinho (Barcelona)

Brazil are drawn in Group A along with Bolivia, Venezuela and Peru. The opening match will be between Brazil and Bolivia.
