Binod Das announced final squad for ACC U19 Eastern Region 2019

Nepal’s final squad for the ACC U-19 Eastern Region 2019 has been announced with four new players making it into the list.

Malaysia is hosting the eight-teams tournament from July 2 with final slated for July 9. Nepal are grouped with China, Myanmar, and Singapore in group A. Similarly, the group B comprises of  Malaysia, Bhutan, Hong Kong and Thailand.

Nepal U19 team coach Binod Das left out the four players that played in recently concluded ICC U-19 Qualifiers and picked up new four faces. The newcomers includes the U-16 skipper Bishal Bikram KC, Lokesh Bam, Khadak Bohara and Tilak Bhandari.

The team, announced under the captaincy of Rohit Kumar Poudel sees off Aashif Sheikh, Sandip Jora, Surya Tamang and Abhishek Basnet from the team.

The tournament will be of 50 overs. Nepal will play their first match on 2nd July against Myanmar at  STC Oval.


Final Squad: Rohit Kumar Poudel (Captain), Rit Gautam, Pawan Sarraf, Bhim Sharki, Gari Bahadur Chhetri, Kushal Malla, Rashid Khan, Kaman Singh Airee, Sagar Dhakal, Pratish Gc, Bishal Bikram KC, Lokesh Bam, Khadak Bohara and Tilak Bhandari.
