Big blow for Nepal, Paras Khadka picked up an injury

Nepal’s skipper Paras Khadka could possibly miss out on Nepal’s second match of ICC World T20 Qualifiers as he picked up an injury during the first match against Qatar. Nepal had lost the match as well. Khadka had made 28 runs from 17 balls in that match.

Khadka and Gyanendra Malla had made a record opening partnership for Nepal in T20I before losing Khadka in the seventh over. Though Khadka played 17 balls in that inning, he told that he had back pain from the very first delivery.

He said he could only feel less pain while on the crease. However, when he was out and returned the pavilion, he felt the actual pain. He was even unable to move his body and he looked very tensed during the second inning. He was replaced by Pawan Sarraf in the second inning.

Khadka has been always suffering from back pain. However, it is said that some rest will help him heal but it is still unsure that Khadka will play tomorrow or not. His absence in the team will certainly be a big loss for Nepal as he is the only few of them who have been scoring good runs in recent matches.

Paras Khadka’s absence in the second inning could possibly one of the reasons for Nepal’s loss today.
