Bhutan Football Team resumed training Session

Bhutan National football team has resumed their training after government’s approval.

The Bhutan Football Federation (BFF) confirmed their training resumption from this week at Changlimithang Stadium.

Following the government’s restriction on all the sporting events in the country, football was halted in the nation for more than three months. However, the football association has now resumed their training under strict restriction in the stadium.

Bhutan is the first among the South Asian nations to resume the training during the global pandemic.

Similarly, the federation is awaiting the government’s approval to start the Bhutan Premier League from August. The league will comprise of ten football clubs from four districts fight for the prestigious title for a duration of 5 months.
