The Argentine team has announced their 23-men squad for the upcoming Copa America 2019 starting from June 14 in Brazil. The Argentine coach Lionel Scaloni has cut down the squad from 40 to 23 on Tuesday.
The biggest surprise in the squad is exclusion of Inter Milan’s Mauro Icardi. He has been out of the squad as he merely played in the league this season.

Barcelona Super-star Lionel Messi will be leading Argentina, who will be in hunt for the only an International silverware. After failing in the final of both previous Copa America against Chili, Argentina will be desperate to win this time.
Premier League winner Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero was included for the first time in the National Squad after the FIFA World Cup in 2018.
Argentina are drawn in group B alongside Colombia, Paraguay and Qatar. Qatar in the Guest nation from Asia in Copa America 2019.
