A set of tri-series which is scheduled in Namibia is set to be postponed due to the corona virus outbreak in majority of the world. The series which is the part of ICC World Cup League 2 is slated in April, 2020. Nepal, Namibia and Scotland will compete in the series.
According to the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) secretary Ashoknath Pyakurel, ICC will be giving the official decision on it within two days. There is high chance of the series being postponed. Scotland are keen to postponed the series as well.
Nepal is set to play the series from April 20 to 27 in Namibia and now with almost all the international sports being suspended in different nations, the series is most likely to be suspended as well.
In the first series of the tournament, Nepal has managed to win two matches and lost the other two in the matches played at TU International Cricket Ground.
