Messi paying £3.25m to get Ronaldinho out of prison is reported to be ‘FAKE’

There has been a rumors all around the world that Leo Messi is all set to pay £3.25 million to help his former Barcelona team-mate Ronaldinho out of jail.

The FIFA 2002 World Cup winner, Ronaldinho Gaucho was arrested in Paraguay last week after his passport was reported to be fake. It is learnt that former Barcelona super-star could end up in jail for another six months for using the alleged dodgy documents.

Soon after his arrest, there were many claims in the social media that Leo Messi was set to pay £3.25 million and get him out of the jail along with hiring top lawyers to handle the case.

However, as per reported by the Sun, according to Catalan publication Sport, Messi’s advisers have insisted that, while the Argentine superstar sympathies with Ronaldinho’s situation, he will not be helping financially.

Appeal rejected !

Brazil legend Ronaldinho’s appeal to be allowed out of jail and placed under house arrest had been rejected. Paraguay’s Appeal Court said the former footballer posed a “medium to high” flight risk if his prison situation was modified. Along with Ronaldinho, his brother’s appeal has been rejected as well. He is also being held in the same cell.

Ronaldinho is regarded as one of the best football of all time who have won FIFA World Cup, FIFA Confederation Cup, Copa America, UCL, FIFA Player of the Year, FIFA Balloon D’or and many more.
