Former South African skipper Hasim Amla to play in EPL 2020

The former South African skipper Hasim Amla is all set to give his presence in the third edition of Everest Premier League 2020. The opening batsman Hamla is regarded as one of the finest cricketer of South Africa.

According to the Cricketing Nepal, the franchise from which Hasim Amla will be playing is not disclosed now. However, he is not the first South African player to play in the league. Last season, Richard Levi had played in the league.

The 36-years old Amla had played 124 test matches, 181 ODIs and 44 T20 Internationals. He had lead the South African team from 2014 to 2016.

Amla had made 28 centuries and 41 half-centuries in test cricket. Similarly, he had made 27 centuries and 39 half centuries in ODIs. However, he had not made any centuries in T20Is.
